This brand honors our roots. The thistle represents Jon’s Scottish heritage (resilient, resourceful, enduring). The cypress represents Rick’s Italian lineage (warm, generous, deeply tied to place). Together, they shape a life that’s rugged yet refined, practical yet beautiful. We’re practitioners, not experts. What we share — always — is a love of good food, wine, a joy from seeing the land thrive, traveling and enjoyment of new experiences, cultures, and approaches to life. We plant, build, preserve, make garden mistakes, and learn from them. Travel to other parts of the world is inspiration—showing what happens when culture, craft, and land align.
